Duty Station: Democratic Republic of Congo, Goma Country Office (50%), field offices (50%)

Period: 12 months

Starting Date: ASAP

Main objective:

Contribute in structuring a Monitoring and Evaluation Department in DRC.

Reporting to: Country Director (1^st Supervisor), MEAL Specialist (2^nd Supervisor), Desk Area Manager (3^th Supervisor)

Specific duties:

1. Elaborate in collaboration with the MEAL Specialist support routine project monitoring activities.

2. Support the design of internal and external assessments

3. Conduct interviews and organize the tasks of the MEAL teams on field

4. Ensure the quality of the data collected on field by providing trainings and supervision to the staff

5. Prepare any relevant analysis and presentations for donors and meetings

6. Complete all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Requirements

Candidate profile:

• University degree, preferably in a topic related to economics, statistics or international development;

• At least 1/3 years of professional experience in humanitarian / emergency contexts

• Fluent in English and French

• Previous experience in DRC an asset
