As Senior Program Officer - Democratic Republic of Congo you will represent World Vision DR Congo to external major donors and stakeholders and provide leadership in resource development/proposal writing, grants integration and quality program implementation in respect of private non- sponsorship funding.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Development Studies or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of five years program management/coordination/oversight experience, including in an international development setting to include assessment, monitoring and evaluation, implementation and design of projects.
- Previous experience in a management position with USAID grant experience is required.
- Master Degree in Business Administration, International Development with Proven ability to manage technical assistance programs and subcontractors in complex US government funded projects. - preferred
- USAID grant management, knowledge of specific program sectors (Protection, Education, WASH, Food Security & Livelihoods) an advantage, Budgeting and financial management skills an asset.
- Work environment: non family post and unsecured area.
- Travel: 40% Domestic/international travel is required.
